Watch the HEPA filter install
Turn off the climate control system.
Open the front right-hand door, move the seat fully rearwards and remove the floor mat.
Working top-to-bottom, carefully release the right-side panel from the centre console (trim tool for pre-Feb 2025 cars).
Release the push clips (or magnets) on the front right footwell cover, disconnect the two electrical connectors and set it aside.Caution: pull from the plastic connectors, never the wires.
Remove the 6 mm screw (pre-Feb 2025) or squeeze the two tabs at the bottom of the cabin-filter cover, then tilt it outward to remove.
Fold the upper cabin filter's pull tabs outward, then pull the upper filter out, followed by the lower filter.
With the yellow tab on top and the black side facing the REAR, insert the lower filter, then the upper filter above it.
Fold the tabs inward and refit the cover (torque the 6 mm screw to 1.2 Nm if fitted, or clip the tabs).
Reconnect the two connectors, re-secure the footwell cover, then realign the side panel until every clip is fully seated.
Reinstall the floor mat, return the seat, and reset the cabin-air-filter interval in your vehicle's maintenance menu.
Watch the puddle light install
Open the left front door and fully lower the window.
Carefully pry the existing puddle light out of the bottom of the door panel with the trim tool.
Press the locking tab to disconnect the connector and remove the old light.Caution: don't pull the lamp too far — the connector is still attached.
Connect the wiring harness to the ModelMate light and check it illuminates — the Tesla logo should project correctly.
Insert the ModelMate light into the opening and press up firmly until it snaps securely into the door panel.
Raise the window, close the door, and repeat on the other three doors.
Watch the wiper blade install
Shift into Park and turn the wipers off.
Touch Controls > Service > Wiper Service Mode to raise the wipers to the service position.
Lift the wiper arm just far enough to access the blade.Caution: wiper arms don't lock up — don't lift beyond the intended position.
Place a towel between the arm and windshield to protect the glass.
Hold the arm, press the locking tab, and slide the old blade off.
Align the new blade and slide it on until it clicks — do a push-pull test to confirm it's locked.
Turn Wiper Service Mode off to return the wipers to normal.
